Established by second-generation panelbeater, Anthony Prinsloo, and his wife Ethel in 1988, this business has grown from strength to strength over the years through perseverance, hard work, and dedication to their clients and staff. Anthony qualified as a panelbeater and worked for Farber Coachworks for many years until he began his own business by renting a small premises in Mitchells Plain through Small Business Development and today, the business owns 4 units in the same complex that he started in all those years ago.

After Anthony’s passing 11 years ago, Ethel handed the daily running of the business over to their sons, Bradley and Craig. Having literally grown up in the business, the brothers were eager to take the reins and lead MH Panelshop into the future.

Today MH Panelshop is proud to have 26 OEM accreditations and be the only factory approved panelshop in the area.

Having recently partnered with HALO, MH Panelshop have positioned themselves well with a forum who can assist with access to information, solutions and suggestions to better their stake in the industry.

At MH Panelshop, the defining factor that sets them apart is their motto of “beyond these walls”. This motto is not just a catchy slogan, but a way of life for the dedicated team of professionals that work there.

Every year, MH Panelshops hosts 12 apprentices who are eager to learn and gain valuable hands-on experience in the auto body repair industry.

These apprentices are given the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians, using top-grade equipment and learning from the well-qualified staff at MH Panelshop, majority of them who have been with the company for 10 years or more.

MH Panelshop stand as a beacon of hope and support for those in need in the Mitchells Plain area. and always look for new ways to give back and make a positive impact.

One prime example of their dedication to serving others is their partnership with a church group in the area. This church group focuses on helping the homeless and less fortunate by providing them with basic necessities and working to integrate them back into the community. Besides other areas of community assistance, MH Panelshop provides 200 meals weekly for the homeless through the church group’s outreach program. They are proof that by working together, even the smallest acts of kindness could have a significant impact on those in need.
